Trauma-informed therapy that helps adults move from overwhelm to confidence

I'm Natasha Vdovkina, a BACP Registered Counsellor and EMDR Accredited Therapist offering therapy in Bristol and online worldwide. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, relational difficulties, emotional overwhelm or those seeking deeper self-understanding and growth.
I am particularly interested in how our earliest experiences and relationships shape the way we feel, behave and relate to others in the present. In my therapeutic work, I also hold in mind the wider context we live in — the social and environmental pressures that influence our emotional lives and sense of security.
Therapy is not always easy. It takes honesty, commitment and courage to look inward. My approach is warm, friendly and empathetic, while also clear, boundaried and at times gently challenging when needed. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself has the potential to create meaningful and lasting change.

Low self-worth, self-criticism, and difficulty valuing yourself.
Emotional overwhelm, feeling stuck, or disconnected from yourself.
Patterns you recognise but struggle to change on your own.

Yes. I work with clients both in person in Bristol and online, which can be helpful if you need flexibility or prefer to work remotely.
That depends on what you want help with. Some people come for a focused period of work, while others choose longer-term therapy. We review this together as therapy develops.
EMDR is a well-established therapy that can help process trauma, distressing memories and the beliefs that can become attached to them. We can decide together whether it feels appropriate for you.
